There is More to Choosing a Surgeon than Meets the Eye

When choosing a surgeon, it’s imperative to do so with the words “experience” and “success” in mind. But while doing so, there are other details that are just as important.

To start, your surgeon should have a good bedside manner. Not only does this put your mind at ease, but it also helps you realize that you’ve made a good decision.

Here’s what a recent patient of ours had to say about his experience on the day of his surgery:

The day of the surgery Dr. Sharma was very attentive to my needs.  His positive, upbeat demeanor was greatly appreciated by both my friend, Joe, who accompanied me, and my beautiful daughter who always worries about her daddy!  I was very confident going into the OR suite.  God Bless this wonderful practice!

When you have a surgeon who is attentive, positive, and experienced, you’ll have all the confidence you need to proceed with a clear mind.

Here’s something else to consider: the surgeon’s office staff.

While the surgeon is the one who will fix your problem once and for all, it’s their office staff that you’ll communicate with most of the time.

Here’s another testimonial from a recent patient:

Starting with the first phone call, Krystal was one of the most helpful front desk receptionist I had ever worked with.  She showed me great patience during the first two weeks.  Due to several situations going on in my life….I had to change my appointment day and time four times.  She was always very kind and accommodating.  By the time I got to an appointment, I felt like I had another daughter.

When choosing a surgeon, your primary goal is to find someone who can fix your problem, eliminate your pain, and help you get back to the life you enjoy. Just make sure you’re also considering all other factors, as you want to make the right decision across the board.
