Testing Doesn’t Always Lead to the Right Diagnosis

spine-xrayWhen suffering from a back or neck injury, it’s critical to receive a proper diagnosis as quickly as possible.

Despite the fact that testing can help a medical professional better understand your condition, it doesn’t always result in an accurate diagnosis.

Recently, we consulted with a patient who had 10 MRIs over the course of two years. He was injured in a motor vehicle accident, and his medical provider was unable to pinpoint the cause of his pain.

Despite 10 MRIs, he continued to live with pain and discomfort for an extended period of time.

Upon visiting us, we discussed his symptoms and details of the accident. We also ordered additional tests so we could see exactly what was going on.

We immediately created a surgical plan that resulted in a full recovery. Here’s what he had to say about his experience with our office:

“Dr. Sharma saved my life…my quality of life. Thanks to him, David, Sheldon and all the ladies who help us get where we need to go for procedures.”

If your doctor continually runs the same test but comes up empty, it’s critical to seek a second opinion. You may be closer than you think to putting yourself on the road to recovery.
