3 Signs that Your Back Injury is Not Healing

back and neck painThere is nothing worse than suffering a back injury, even if you’re confident in your ability to quickly heal.

As the days go by, it’s important to keep close tabs on your injury and progress. Are you beginning to feel better? How about worse?

Here are three signs that your back injury is not healing as quickly as it should:

·      The pain and discomfort is not subsiding at all. With each passing day you should expect your pain and discomfort to lessen, even if only a little bit at a time. If this isn’t happening you shouldn’t hesitate to find out what’s going on.

·      You’re unable to move. Even if this isn’t the case immediately following your injury, you could inch closer to this as the days pass. If you soon find that you’re barely able to move, you shouldn’t hesitate to take action.

·      Other parts of your body are being impacted. For example, a back injury can soon cause pain in your neck. Or maybe you find it difficult to move your legs without experiencing discomfort. This is a sign of something more serious.

It’s better to be safe than sorry with any type of back injury. If you have reason to believe that your injury is not healing, don’t wait another day to consult with a professional. This may be just what you need to finally put your injury in the past.
